莉莉·阿克曼

莉莉·阿克曼 is a first-year playwright in the Juilliard School’s Lila Acheson Wallace American Playwrights Program from New York. Recent work includes 下议院 (59E59), 的摊位 (Cork Opera House), and Hedgehog Years (Playing-On-Air). Her work has appeared in the Dublin Fringe Festival, Cork Midsummer Festival, and Dixon Place. It has been developed with Fault Line Theatre, 壁炉, 用棍棒打拇指, and the New Theatre in Dublin. She has written several opera libretti, two of which were nominated for Best Opera by the Irish Times. She won Playing-On-Air’s 2018 James Stevenson Prize, was a finalist for the Leah Ryan Prize, and received the Rita Goldberg Play Award. She’s a Fulbright awardee and a New Georges affiliated artist. MFA in 剧本创作 from Hunter College, under Annie Baker and Branden Jacobs-Jenkins.
